Oily skin essentials

Morning Routine (AM)

1.  Cleanser

  • Use a gentle foaming or gel cleanser.
  • The goal is to control oil + protect your skin.
  • Recommended: Gel Clarificant Eclat Pur


2.  Toner (optional)

  • Helps minimise pores and remove leftover oil.
  • Only use if your skin feels greasy even after cleansing.


3.  Moisturiser

  • choose an oil-free, lightweight moisturiser. 
  • Even oily skin needs hydration!
  • Recommended: Oil-Free Hydrating Gel


4.  Sunscreen (SPF 30+)

  • This is non-negotiable.
  • controls oil long-term and protects from sun damage.
  • Recommended: Mineral Sunscreen (SPF30)


Evening Routine (PM)

1.  Cleanser

  • Same as in the morning.


2.  Treatment (optional)

  • Use this step if you struggle with blackheads, acne, or excess oil.
  •  1-2 times weekly
  • Niacinamide serum (controls oil, refines pores)
  • salicylic acid (BHA) (deep pore cleaning)
  • Use one at a time — not both together.
  • Recommended: Acne Spot Care or AHA Peeling Concentrate


3.  Moisturiser

  • non-comedogenic & lightweight formula.
  • Recommended: Oil-Free Hydrating Gel


Weekly (1–2x)

1.  Clay Mask (optional)

  •  Absorbs excess oil and tightens pores.


Pro Tips

1.  Wash 2x daily — morning & night only; overwashing increases oil.

2.  Hydrate daily — use a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser to prevent rebound oiliness.

3.  Use non-comedogenic products — look for “oil-free” or “won’t clog pores.”

4.  Avoid harsh products — skip alcohol-based toners and bar soaps.

5.  Wear sunscreen daily — choose matte or gel formulas for oily skin.

6.  Blot, don’t rub — use blotting papers or mattifying powder during the day.

7.  Exfoliate 1–3x/week — gentle BHA (salicylic acid) helps unclog pores.

8.  Eat balanced — limit sugary, greasy foods; add fruits, veggies, and omega-3s.

9.  Keep it clean — change pillowcases often and wipe your phone daily.

10. Be consistent — give new products 3–4 weeks before judging results..
